The Jules Verne Festival’s series of classic film soundtrack concerts conducted by John Scott make their world premiere digital release. These are the complete concerts at the Grand Rex Theater, conducted by John Scott in 2004, 2005 and 2009. John Scott’s 2009 concert is the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the first Moon Landing, in the presence of astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Scott composed an entire symphonic score for Georges Méliès’ silent film ‘Le Voyage dans la Lune” (A Trip to the Moon), performed in sychronization with the film during this historical concert. Here is for the first time ever, the complete recording of this iconic score, available on itunes and Amazon, only for a limited time!
